These conditions represent a binding agreement between you and Internship Community or the entity of the Internship Community group which operates the Website you access ("IC"). You accept these conditions each time you access the IC site or use the services of IC. Do not use the sites or the services of IC if you do not agree to the conditions presented here.
IC may change the Terms by posting an updated version of this web page. You should periodically visit this page and read the terms because they are legally binding for you.
IC is authorised to suspend or terminate the access of users who violate these terms.
You must be 16 years or older to visit or use the IC sites. If you are under 18 years old or are a minor in your jurisdiction, you must use the IC sites under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or another responsible adult.
You are not authorised to use the content or the IC profiles to determine the eligibility of a person for: (a) a loan or insurance for personal, family or household purposes; (b) employment; or (c) a government license or benefit.
1. Using IC content.
IC authorises you, under the present terms, to access and use the IC sites and their content (as defined below) to download and print such content that is available on or from the IC sites and this is exclusively for private non-commercial use. The contents, for example, designs, text, graphics, images, videos, information, logos, button icons, software, audio files and the like (grouped under the term "IC content") are protected by copyright, registered commercial trademark protection and other laws. All content is the property of IC or its affiliates. The compilation (meaning the collection, arrangement and assembly) of all content on the sites is the exclusive property of IC and is protected by copyright laws, commercial trademark protection and other laws. Unauthorised use of the content may violate such laws and/or regulations and is strictly prohibited. You must retain all authorised copies you have made of the IC content, all information subject to copyright and other proprietary information in the original IC content.
All codes created by IC to generate or display IC content and the pages of the IC sites are also protected by copyright and you must not copy or modify these codes.
You agree not to sell, modify, reproduce, display, distribute or otherwise use the Site Content whether for commercial purposes or not, publicly or in private, particularly if the goal in using it is to promote products or services which are not those of IC, to disparage or discredit IC or its licensors or to undermine the intellectual property of IC or its licensors. The prohibition above is valid whatever the medium, including all other websites, applications, or networked computer environments. All codes created by IC, to produce or display the Content or the pages making up an application or service are also protected by the IC copyright. It is forbidden to copy, adapt or alter these codes.
2. Using IC Services.
Offer publications, the CV database and the other functions of the IC sites can only be used by individuals seeking employment (work placement, internships, international volunteer employment, apprenticeships, "temporary" student jobs, "permanent" first jobs and "fixed-term" jobs) and/or career information and by employers looking for employees. Similarly, IC profiles can only be used for lawful professional or personal purposes. Your use of IC services is also subject to any other contract you may have with IC. In case of conflict between these Terms and any contract you may have with IC, the terms of your contract shall prevail. The term "to publish" mentioned herein means the submission, publication or display of data by you on an IC site.
Users are forbidden from:
(a) transmitting, publishing, distributing, storing or destroying any material, especially IC content, in violation of current laws or regulations concerning the collection, processing or transfer of personal information, or in violation of the protection guidelines for IC information;
(b) taking any action that would represent an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the IC website infrastructure;
(C) using a browser other than those available on the IC Site, generally available third party web browsers, or other tools approved by IC;
(d) using any data mining systems, robots or similar data collection or extraction methods;
(e) endangering or attempting to endanger the security of any IC websites. This includes attempts to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorisation;
(f) forging TCP/IP protocols or any part of the header information in an e-mail or posting on a forum;
(g) reverse engineering or decompiling pages of any IC site;
(h) aggregating, copying or duplicating in any way IC Content or information available on any IC Site, including expired job postings (work placement, internships, international volunteer employment, apprenticeships, "temporary" student jobs, "permanent" first jobs and "fixed-term" jobs), unless permitted under these Terms;
(i) referencing or creating links to all Content or available information from IC websites, unless expressly permitted under these Terms;
(j) posting content or material that promotes or endorses false or misleading information or illegal activities, or endorses or provides instructional information about illegal activities or other activities prohibited by these Terms. For example, making or buying illegal weapons, violating someone's privacy, providing or creating computer viruses or pirating media;
(k) posting a CV or Profile or to applying for a job on behalf of another party;
(l) disclosing the contact from an employer to any agents, agencies, or other third parties;
(m) publishing more than one copy of the same CV at any one time;
(n) sharing login credentials to IC Sites with a third party, a third party being anyone other than the sole user to which the identifier is assigned;
(o) accessing data not intended for you or logging into a server or account which you are not authorised to access;
(p) posting or submitting incomplete, false or inaccurate biographical information or information which belongs to a third party to IC sites;
(q) posting content that contains restricted or password-protected pages, or hidden pages or images;
(r) obtaining other users' passwords or personal identification data;
(s) deleting or altering any material posted by any other person or entity;
(t) harassing, inciting harassment or advocating harassment of a group, company, or individual;
(u) sending e-mails, mail or faxes or making unsolicited phone calls, particularly to promote products or services, to any user or attempting to contact them without first obtaining their consent;
(v) attempting to interfere with the service provided to any user, host or network, including via means of submitting a computer virus, overloading, "flooding," "spamming," "mailbombing" or "crashing";
(w) promoting or endorsing illegal or unauthorised copies of another person's copyrighted work, such as by providing or making available pirated computer programs or links to them, providing or making available information to circumvent manufacture-installed copy-protect devices, or providing or making available pirated music or other media or links to piracy sites;
(x) using the IC Services for unlawful purposes or illegal activities, or posting or submitting content, CVs, or job postings (work placement, internships, international volunteer employment, apprenticeships, "temporary" student jobs, "permanent" first jobs and "fixed-term" jobs) that are defamatory, libellous, implicitly or explicitly offensive, vulgar, obscene, threatening, abusive, hateful, racist, discriminatory, of a menacing character or likely to cause annoyance, inconvenience, embarrassment, anxiety or could cause harassment to any one or including links to pornographic, indecent or sexually explicit material of any kind; or (y) posting inauthentic CVs and which attempt to advertise or promote products or services.
Violations of system or network security may result in civil and/or criminal liability. IC shall investigate occurrences which may involve such violations and may involve, and cooperate with, law enforcement authorities in prosecuting Users who are involved in such violations.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, Profile and passwords. You may not share, even temporarily, your password or other account access information with other parties. You are responsible for use of your IC Site registrations and passwords, whether or not authorised by you. You agree to immediately notify IC of any unauthorised use of your account, profile, or passwords.
3. Additional Terms Applicable to Employers (Companies and Recruiters).
Employers (companies and/or recruiters) are solely responsible for their postings on IC sites. IC is not to be considered as an employer (company and/or recruiter) or an agent thereof with respect to your use of IC Sites and IC shall not be responsible for any employment decisions, for whatever reason, made by entities posting jobs on IC Sites.
You understand and acknowledge that if you cancel your employer account (company or recruiter), all your account information from IC, including saved CVs, network contacts, and e-mail mailing lists, will be deleted from IC databases. Information may continue to be available for some period of time because of delays in propagating such deletion.
In order to protect our IC Users from commercial advertising or solicitation, IC reserves the right to restrict the number of e-mails which an employer (company or recruiter) may send to Users to a number which IC deems appropriate under its sole discretion. You must use IC Profiles and Resources in accordance with all applicable privacy and data protection laws.
A Job posting may not contain:
(a) hyperlinks other than those specifically authorised by IC;
(b) misleading, illegible, or "hidden" keywords, repeated keywords or keywords that are irrelevant to the job posting (work placement, internships, international volunteer employment, apprenticeships, "temporary" student jobs, "permanent" first jobs and "fixed-term" jobs);
(c) the names, logos or trademarks of unaffiliated companies other than yours or expressly authorised by IC;
(d) the names of schools or colleges, cities, states, towns or countries that are unrelated to the posting;
(e) more than one job or job description, more than one location, or more than one job category, unless the product so allows;
(f) inaccurate, false, or misleading information; and
(g) material or links to material that exploits people in a sexual, violent or other manner, or solicits personal information from anyone under the age of 16.
You may not use the job posting services (work placement, internships, international volunteer employment, apprenticeships, "temporary" student jobs, "permanent" first jobs and "fixed-term" jobs), or IC profiles to:
(a) post jobs in a manner that does not comply with applicable local, national and international laws, including but not limited to laws relating to labour and employment, equal employment opportunity and employment eligibility requirements, data privacy, data access and use, and intellectual property;
(b) post jobs that require a particular citizenship or a permanent residence in a country as a condition of employment, unless such condition is required by law or regulations in force;
(c) post jobs that include a screening requirement or criterion in connection with a job posting where such requirement or criterion is not an actual and legal requirement of the posted job;
(d) with respect to Profiles, determine a consumer's eligibility for: (a) a loan or insurance for personal, family, or household purposes; (b) employment (work placement, internships, international volunteer employment, apprenticeships, "temporary" student jobs, "permanent" first jobs and "fixed-term" jobs); or (c) a government license or benefit;
(e) sell, promote or advertise products or services;
(f) post opportunities on franchises, pyramid schemes, club memberships, distributorship, multi-level marketing opportunities, or sales representative agency agreements;
(g) post business opportunities that require an upfront or periodic payment or requires recruitment of other members, sub-distributors or sub-agents;
(h) post business opportunities that pay commission only unless the posting clearly states that the available job pays commission only and clearly describes the product or service to be sold;
(i) promote opportunities that are not serious offers of employment;
(j) post on IC Sites looking for models, actors, artists or entertainment agencies or talent scouting positions;
(k) advertise sexual services or seek employees for jobs of a sexual nature;
(l) solicit or promote the use of human bodies or parts, including, without limitation, assisted reproductive services such as egg donation or surrogacy;
(m) endorse a particular political party, political agenda, political position or issue;
(n) promote a particular religion;
(o) post jobs located in countries subject to economic sanctions of the French Government; and
(p) except where allowed by applicable law, post jobs which require the applicant to provide information relating to his/her (i) racial or ethnic origin (ii) political beliefs (iii) philosophical or religious beliefs (iv) membership to a trade union (v) physical or mental health (vi) sexual orientation (vii) criminal record or (vii) age.
IC reserves, at its sole discretion, the right to remove job postings or content posted on its website that would not comply with the above Terms or whose contents could undermine IC or IC users.
If, at any time during your use of IC Services, you misrepresent facts to IC or otherwise mislead IC in regards to the nature of your business activities, IC shall have grounds to terminate your use of the subscribed Services.
CV Database (under construction)
Use of the IC CV Database by Employers (Companies and/or recruiters)
You shall use the IC CV Database as provided in these Terms and any other contract you have with IC. You shall use the IC CV Database in accordance with all applicable privacy and data protection laws. You agree not to disclose any of the data from the IC CV Database to third parties, unless you are an authorised recruitment agency ("recruiters"), an advertising agency or other agency duly authorised by IC and using the CV explicitly for employment purposes.
You shall take appropriate physical, technical, and administrative measures to protect the data you have obtained from the IC CV Database from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. You may not share login credentials and passwords of access licenses to the "CV Database" with third parties.
The IC CV Database shall not be used:
(a) for any purpose other than as an employer seeking employees, including but not limited to advertising promotions, products, or services to any CV holders;
b) to make unsolicited phone calls or to send unsolicited faxes, mail, e-mails, or newsletters to CV holders or to contact individuals unless they have agreed to be contacted (where consent is required or, if express consent is not required, who has informed you that they do not want to be contacted); or
(c) to seek or contact candidates or CV holders for the purposes of recruitment fairs or opportunities otherwise prohibited in section 3.
In order to ensure a safe and effective experience for all users, IC reserves the right to limit the amount of data (including CV views) that may be accessed by the user. These limitations can be changed at any time under the sole discretion of IC.
4. Additional terms applicable to Job Seekers ("students").
When you register with an IC Site, you will be asked to create an account and provide IC with certain information including, without limitation, a valid e-mail address (your "Information").
All profiles that you submit must be accurate and describe you as an individual. The profile requires standard fields to be completed. When you register, you must provide us with the following details:
You are solely responsible for the form, content and accuracy of any CV or material posted on the IC Sites.
IC reserves the right to offer you third party services and products based on the preferences that you identify upon registration and at any time thereafter and if you have agreed to receive offers from IC or by third parties. Please see the IC DATA PROTECTION NOTICE for further details on the processing of personal data.
You have no ownership rights on your account. If you cancel your IC account or if your account is terminated by IC as a result of misuse, all your account information, including CVs, profiles, cover letters, saved jobs, questionnaires will be deleted from IC databases and will be removed from any public area of the IC Sites. However, data may continue to be available for a certain period due to the processing time required for its removal. In addition, third parties may retain saved copies of your personal information.
IC reserves the right to delete your account and all of your Information after a significant duration of inactivity.
5. User Content and Submissions.
All information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, videos, or other materials submitted or posted ("User Content") on IC sites is under your own responsibility. IC claims no ownership or control over any user content. You or a third party licensor retain all patents, trademarks and copyrights to any User Content you post on or through IC sites. It is your responsibility to protect these rights. By submitting or posting content on or through IC, you grant IC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, distribute and publish such content. In addition, by submitting or posting content which is to be available to the general public, you grant IC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, adapt, distribute and publish such User Content for the purpose of promoting IC and its services. After deleting User Content, IC will cease use of such content within a reasonable time. IC reserves the right to refuse to accept, post, display or transmit any User Content under its sole discretion.
You declare and warrant that you have legally obtained all operating rights of licences for published content. By submitting Content to a public section of an IC Site, you grant the right to any user to access, display, view, store and reproduce such content for personal use. Subject to the aforementioned, the owner of such User Content retains any and all rights that may exist on published content. IC reserves the right to edit and/or remove any User Content that, under its sole judgement, violates these Terms, violates applicable laws, rules or regulations, is abusive, disruptive, offensive or illegal, or violates the rights of, or harms or threatens the safety of, other IC users. IC reserves the right to ban users, remove their right of access to IC sites and their use of services, in case of breach of these Terms, laws, rules or regulations. IC reserves the right to take any action it deems necessary if the user content in one way or another could be a basis for prosecution, could affect the brand or image of IC, or cause IC to lose users or the services of its ISPs or other suppliers.
IC does not guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy or reliability of User Content or messages posted by users. IC does not endorse any opinions expressed by users. The user acknowledges that relying on material posted by other Users is at their own risk.
The following is a partial list of User Content that is prohibited on the Sites or Applications. Thus, without this list being exhaustive, prohibited content is content that:
All Profiles you upload must describe you, an individual person. Descriptions that do not match your person, such as animals, places, objects, fictional characters and real people other than you are prohibited.
Profiles derived from User Content may also be made available through the IC Sites. IC does not guarantee the accuracy or validity of such derived works or their appropriateness for evaluation by employers. Derived Profiles may differ from User Content.
We appreciate hearing from our Customers and welcome your comments regarding our services and the IC Sites. While we do value your feedback on our services, please be specific in your comments regarding our services and do not submit creative ideas, inventions, suggestions, or materials. If, despite our request, you send us creative suggestions, ideas, drawings, concepts, inventions, or other information (collectively "Submissions"), these Submissions shall become the property of IC or in the event that IC cannot exclusively own all rights in the Submission, you hereby grant IC a royalty-free irrevocable and perpetual license to use the Submission and IC shall be entitled to unrestricted use of the Submission for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without compensation to you or any other person. None of the Submissions shall be subject to any obligations of confidentiality on our part and we shall not be liable for any use or disclosure of any Submissions.
6. Notifications of Copyrights or Trademarks.

7. Termination for infringement of the intellectual property rights of others.
IC respects the intellectual property rights of others, and we ask our users, account holders and content partners to do the same. The unauthorised reproduction, copying, distribution, modification, public performance or broadcasting of works protected by copyright violates the rights of the owner. You agree not to use this Site or any IC Site to violate the intellectual property rights of others in any way whatsoever. We will remove the accounts of account holders and will block access to our Site and/or other IC Sites to users who repeatedly violate the copyright or other intellectual property rights of others. We reserve the right to take these actions at any time at our sole discretion, with or without notice, and without liability on our part with respect to the unsubscribed account holder or in respect of the user whose access is blocked.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event you believe in good faith that the deletion of your account was unjustified, please contact us as indicated in Article 6.
8. IC's liability.
IC sites act solely as places of exchange for (i) employers (companies and/or recruiters) to post job opportunities (work placement, internships, international volunteer employment, apprenticeships, "temporary" student jobs, "permanent" first jobs and "fixed-term" jobs)
and to search for candidates and (ii) for candidates to post their CVs and profiles and search for jobs (work placement, internships, international volunteer employment, apprenticeships, "temporary" student jobs, "permanent" first jobs and "fixed-term" jobs). IC does not screen or censor the posted listings and profiles. IC is not involved in the transaction between employers (companies and/or recruiters) and candidates and exercises no control at this level. As a result, IC is not responsible for the quality, safety or legality of the jobs or CVs posted, the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of employers (companies and/or recruiters) to provide employment (work placement, internships, international volunteer employment, apprenticeships, "temporary" student jobs, "permanent" first jobs and "fixed-term" jobs) to candidates or the ability of candidates to fill the available positions. While IC reserves the right at any time and at its sole discretion to remove User Content, job postings, CVs or other material posted on its sites, IC does not assume any obligation in this regard and, to the extent permitted by the law, it disclaims all liability for failing to remove certain material posted on its website.
Note that there are risks (which may include the risk of bodily harm) that may result from contact with strangers, minors or people using false identities. You assume all risks associated with dealings with other users with whom you come in contact through the IC sites. Information about others may be offensive, hurtful or inaccurate. In some cases, you may be misrepresented or deceptively labelled. We expect you to be cautious and use common sense when using IC sites.
Because User authentication on the Internet is difficult, IC cannot and does not confirm that each User is who they claim to be. In the same way that we are not and cannot be involved in exchanges between users, we do not control the behaviour of participants on IC sites. In the event of a dispute with one or more users, you hereby release IC (our agents and employees) from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential, direct or indirect damages) of every kind and of any nature, known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected damages, disclosed and undisclosed damages resulting from the behaviour or deception of a user.
IC Sites and content may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors. IC gives no guarantee on the accuracy, reliability, completeness or timelessness of any IC site or their content. The use of all IC Sites and content is at your own risk. Changes are periodically made to IC sites. IC cannot guarantee specific results from the use of all or part of its sites. Advice or information, whether oral (e), or written (e), received (e) through an IC user or through any IC Site shall not create any obligation other than that specifically stated herein.
If you reside in California, you waive the "California Civil Code Section 1542," which states: « A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favour at the time of executing the release, which if known by him or her must have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor. »
If you reside in Poland, you acknowledge that on the basis of Article 558 ss of the Polish Civil Code, IC's warranty for physical or legal defects of the products offered, is excluded.
IC recommends that you keep a backup copy of your user content. IC disclaims all liability, to the extent permitted by law, for the deletion, loss, or unauthorised modification of any user content.
IC gives no guarantee as to the nature or quality of third party products or services even if purchased through an IC website. Traditional or legal obligations, warranties, insurance are the sole responsibility of the provider of such products or services under the terms negotiated between the buyer and the supplier.
If you believe that any element on the site may contradict the above, please contact our designated department as specified in article 6 above.
The decision to remove or amend the content thus denounced rests solely with IC, who accepts no liability or responsibility to Users for performance or non-performance of such activities.
9. Warranty disclaimer.
TO THE EXTENT POSSIBLE BY LAW, IC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MALFUNCTIONS OF ITS SITES, ITS SERVICES, ANY VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL MECHANISMS. IC SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR COSTS RELATED TO POSSIBLE EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT, RECOVERY MEASURES, RESTORATION OF DATA OR OTHER EVENTS RELATED TO YOUR USE OF IC SITES OR THEIR CONTENT. THE SITES AND THEIR CONTENT ARE PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR RESEARCH PURPOSE OR ANY RESTRICTIONS OF USE. IC GIVES NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS OR TIMELESSNESS OF CONTENT, SERVICES, SOFTWARE, TEXT, GRAPHICS, AND LINKS.
10. Disclaimer for consequential damages.
TO THE EXTENT POSSIBLE BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL IC, ITS SUPPLIERS, OR ANY THIRD PARTIES MENTIONED ON ANY IC SITE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, LOST PROFITS, OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM LOST DATA OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) RESULTING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE IC SITES AND THEIR CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, UNAUTHORISED USE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL REASON, AND WHETHER OR NOT IC IS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
11. Limitation of Liability.
SHOULD IC BE HELD LIABLE, IC'S MAXIMUM LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH ANY IC SITE OR USE OF THE IC CONTENT, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY THE LAW, SHALL NOT EXCEED €100, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE),
12. Links to Other Sites.
IC Sites contain links to third party websites. These links are provided solely to assist you and IC does not endorse the contents and cannot be associated to these sites in any way. IC cannot be held responsible for those sites and, therefore, guarantees neither their content nor their reliability. If you access these third-party sites, you do so at your own risk.
13. No resale or other unauthorised commercial use.
You agree not to sell or assign your rights or obligations under these terms. You also agree not to make any unauthorised commercial use of all or part of the IC sites.
IC does not guarantee that the Site may be accessed or used outside France. Access to the Site Content may not be legal for certain persons or in certain countries. If you access the IC Sites, it is at your own risk. You are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction. Any software that is downloaded from IC sites is subject to the export control regulations of the European states.
By downloading or using such software, you warrant that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any such country, individual, or entity on any such list.
17. Mobile Services.
If you use the IC sites via a mobile device, you agree that the information related to your use of IC Sites through your device and operator can be communicated to us, including, without limitation, your mobile operator, type of mobile used or your location. In addition, the use of IC sites through a mobile device may cause data to be displayed on and through your mobile device. Therefore, by accessing IC Sites or Applications using a mobile device, you declare that you have the right to share the downloaded data with your mobile phone operator or other service provider. Should you modify or disable your mobile account, you must promptly update your IC account information to ensure that no message can be sent to a third party who acquires your old number. You alone are responsible for updating your data. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for verifying with your mobile operator or ISP the availability of IC Sites and any costs associated with the use of IC services through your mobile device. These costs shall, in any event, be your responsibility.
